Curaçao seeks reinforcement: Genee reveals Bazoer's decision | R. Bazoer

Curaçao is seeking reinforcement for the national team, but Riechedly Bazoer has no interest. The 27-year-old defender from AZ was approached by coach Dick Advocaat to play for the country, but he has no desire to do so.

What happened?

Bazoer was one of the players approached by Advocaat to play for Curaçao. Advocaat revealed in Veronica Offside in early March that he had approached Bazoer, among others, to play for Curaçao.

Why is Bazoer not interested?

Bazoer called Advocaat back and let him know that he has no interest in playing for Curaçao. Genee said: 'He's not doing it. It's a shame, Dick calls all these people but no one wants to cooperate.'

What's next?

Curaçao must now continue to search for reinforcement for the national team. Advocaat had also approached other players, such as Joshua Brenet, Tahith Chong, and Armando Obispo, but many of them have no interest.
